Title MULTICOUNTRY CONTEXT ANALYSIS
Product Type procedure for the analysis and prognosis of the vocational training requirement
Marketing Text Designed by D-O-T (WP4), with the partners’ collaboration, the multicountry context analysis is the result of a large extensive research on the professional profiles, the trainng needs and the existent available VET training offers for e-Facilitators, in each of the four countries involved in the research activity (Bulgaria, Spain, Italy and France). The research was based on various tools: online questionnaires and interviews of 250 e-facilitators and managers of online centres, and also national context research on existing certifications and training curricula for the job of e-facilitator in the four countries.
The multicountry analysis featured the relevant characteristics of the e-facilitator as worker, therefore providing a complete professional profile which considers the educational background, level of studies and specialization as well as the job experience as e-facilitator.
According to the study on the competences gap, the e-facilitators would better perform the job if they got training in ICT, management of services, didactical methodologies, socio-cultural animation, foreign languages, job guidance and management of user services.
Target group The multicountry context analysis is giving valuable results for any stakeholder involved in the e-facilitator job profile's study, for whatever aims: get to better know this professional, adapt and provide learning tools to support him / her in the daily job, think of the future of this key intermediary. ICT and learning experts as well as training centres and online centres are the potential users of this research-guide.
From this starting point, relevant conclusions have raised to set the basis for the curriculum development and training activity (WP6 – Curriculum and courses), and the later experimentation activity (WP8 – Pilot & Evaluation), since it provided the consortium with the list of modules matching the competences need of e-facilitators. The four countries which participated in the collection of data for the research could manage to select the modules that were the most relevant to be tested in their country.
The full multicountry analysis is already published in the project website and a summary version is available in all partners’ languages.
