Summary In Europe today, six out of the seven most important risk factors for premature death (blood pressure, cholesterol, Body Mass Index, inadequate fruit and vegetable intake, physical inactivity, excessive alcohol consumption) relate to how we eat, drink and move. A balanced diet and regular physical activity are important factors in the promotion of good health”. This is a European Commission statement (web page "Public Health"), and it shows that EU is very much are aware of the seriousness of this problem. Health has become part of the political agenda, and also the Danish Government is aware of the problems and addresses it in the agenda “Healthy throughout life”. The reason for the proposed eHAP project is the increased focus on health and nutrition in relation to health promotion in all European countries.
Health professionals and employees who work with health promotion in a variety of places such as canteens, health centres, youth educations, nutrition counseling, and fitness centres have to learn to think creatively in health promotion through the use of ICT. Learning about health should primarily be informal and in this sense become a part of the individual’s health behavior. Tools and information should be percieved relevant, interesting and easily accessible by the individual. This takes that health promotion is thought upon in a more creative way, and one option is to use advanced ICT tools in the learning process. Many health professionals have an outdated education when it comes to the use of ICT in health promotion. And development of competencies is needed to meet the demands of the labor market today raised at the political level. The health professionals lack up-to-date and easily accessible and affordable continuing education and in service training. Especially do they lack training in ICT skills to be able to convey "Health" in a broad sense and in a creative manner.
Advanced learning tools such as podcasts, photostories, mobile learning & blogging are important skills to develop for health professionals, to be able to reach the individual in a creative way. The "E-learning for the Health Agents Program" (eHAP) aims to take advanced e-learning concepts and apply them in continued and further education for health professionals working - in one way or another - with health and nutrition in European countries.
• The main aim of the project is to adapt and furter develop existing blended learning approaches to fit the requirements and qualifications of the target groups , and also meet the demands for advanced learning tools in year 2009.
• The objectives are to educate / train a number of Health Agents in each participating pilot country and enable them through development of competencies to act creatively within the field of nutrition and health. The results will be electronically based health modules available throughout the EU
• The partnership compromises 6 partners involved in educating and employing health professionals

Making a further education for health professionals involving creative health promition by using advanced e-learnings skills.
The further education consist of 5 modules.
The idea is that the eHAP should consist of five modules. Each providing a new perspective to health and allowing the learner to consider health in a creative way. The modules are not complete but the review is to give the reader an idea of what the eHAP will contain. The curriculum is to be defined among the participating partners. Each module will have a workload which will correspond to a week of working at the labour market. It will be blended learning allowing the participant to integrate it with their job as is the idea with WBL. The five modules will be spread out and a module will be held every two month.
