The establishment of surroundings in which a participant is able to enhance her/his skills ensures her/his development to become an employable, open minded and skilled staff member or VET-trainer. They have an important role in education of students to become internationally competent European citizens. For this they have to become competent themselves (LLP).
With the development of authentic learning all countries are developing new methods of teaching (e.g. competence orientated learning). FLORMASM 09 encourages transparency by actively involving the colleges in the FLORNET network. It also supports the single framework of transparency of levels (EQF and ECVET).
The encouragement to use 2 aspects of the EUROPASS will ensure understanding and transparency.
It is inevitable that the participants need to possess up-to-date knowledge, preferably through own experiences abroad.
The main idea is: exchanging different traditions is a good base for the innovative creation of new technical, social and aesthetical visions and for a better understanding of other cultures. The quality of education and the volume of co-operations between institutions providing learning opportunities in companies within Europe will be increased.
Teachers play a huge role in encouraging students to go abroad. The results of FLORMASM 09 will be used to motivate future students to go abroad.
The participants get the opportunities to develop to a higher level both as creative craftsman and as human being. The attractiveness of VET and mobility for employers will be enhanced.

By going abroad the participant is encouraged to use a foreign language.
Implementation and research of ICT aspects is also included.

The role of participants in the assessments and practical exams should be strengthened
The participants investigate the aspects of education, profession and culture. This has impact on the workspace, the curriculum, the strategies and vision of the sending and receiving partners.
