Description It is the matter of transnational learning modules from work situated learning tasks for executives closely related to production (foremen). These modules are meant to be used in addition to the usual lessons. The skills foremen mainly need for their job are competence in the fields of leadership and methodology. In order to acquire those skills it is necessary to use new learning contents and - even more so - new learnig methods. For the qualification of foreman it is intended to impart knowledge through the use of actual situations and problems in existing companies, called situational learning tasks. With this method of hands-on learning using original documents from partner companies people can develop the compentences that they will need later on in their everyday practise.

The learning tasks have been realised in concrete cases. At Danfoss the example of an investment process was integrated with the total productive maintenance management. The process of implementation was coached and used as a training modul. In the case of Keylite the information flow was improved and rountised in a better way, the internal competences were redefinied and clearified. At Dycec the preparation for the EFQM certification was the background for the positioning of the new teamleader role and the qualification concerning this matter. The ISO-certification was the main topic at Didattica Amatori, it has been the content of training and support for the aspired team leader. The learning tasks are available at the simon website.
