Summary The aim of the project, is to train of target groups within their socio-cultural and relegious perspectives in the topic of animal welfare and food safety with the use of courses and printed products, encouragement of the use of ICT techniques, and provision of knowledge, skill and quality and in the long term to qualify the registered and hidden workforce and reinforcement of workforce market, achieve enhancement of fast orientated work force to new technology will serve production of quality and healthy food, and to establish workers’ knowledge on animal welfare that fed by cultural diversity . The target group of the project are sturdents, teachers, sectoral entrerprise workers and their family members. The project is accomplish with six countries.
Description In recent years, the effects of welfare needs of animals on environment and “from farm to fork” food quality have been scientifically demonstrated. In the Project, it is aimed to determine the training requirements for the socio-cultural and religious differences in European work force and comsumers and to make further contribution to the transformation of European training and labor systems into a quality reference after the developed programme. The products and results of the Project will also, without a doubt, help increasing the animal welfare conciousness, entegration of animal friendly animal derived food technologies to the animal product producing industries and support this entegration by personal training.The project (WELFOOD) product and results of training tools related to the animal welfare x environment x food quality interactions will be enriched with consideration of cultural, socio-economic and religious approaches in order to determine a common work definition for all sectorial workers having different moral and social values on the subject of animal welfare and food safety. To produce training tools that are used in communication technologies will be determined.The target group of the project are sturdents, teachers, sectoral entrerprise workers and their family members (elderly or disabled members, wife/husband and children) and project partners are Central and Southeastern Europe countries (Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary and Slovakia).
