• Vertreter aus Berufsverbänden und der Berufspolitik.
The modular framework is based on a consensus of trans-national partners on the overall objectives of vocational education and professional qualification requirements in nursing. The central elements of the concept are a qualification- and situation-oriented curricular approach as a guide for learning fields, learning modules and media. Within this educational framework, learning fields and learning modules serve as structuring principles as well as didactic/methodological principles. The educational programme is subdivided into four learning fields: "profession and professional field"; "nursing process"; "collaboration and co-operation"; "organisation of nursing work". These learning fields result from the didactically processed fields of action in nursing practice and are of an interdisciplinary character. Learning modules on different levels of complexity have been assigned to each of the learning fields. A module is seen as a self-contained learning unit, which leads to specific professional qualifications, the so-called partial qualifications. Hence, students earn specific professional competencies in each learning module.
For each module, partial qualifications have been formulated, which serve as targets for module development. The learning fields follow overall objectives of professional education that are derived from the societal tasks towards nursing’s target group, professional self-understanding and educational understanding. On the one hand, the overall objectives serve as a connecting element to the individual modules. On the other hand, learning objectives, subjects and learning arrangements in the individual module are guided by them. The complex professional competence to act (complete qualification) is a result of combining partial qualifications or learning modules. The learning modules with their aim towards professional qualifications will enhance transparency and comparability and enable flexibility.
