We have set up and experimented new intervention methodologies which permit us to improve the quality and the possibilities of training and insertion into the labour market of people with Down Syndrome. In this framework we've designed and developed a training course for "Trainer-tutor in the work place with people with Down Syndrome", in order to face with succes the vocational training, both in specific training activities for them, as well as for setting-up CV adaptations in the context of 'normalised' training courses.
OAnother way of improving the quality in training processes has been the introduction of gender perspective as a cross action in the whole project, by using parity criteria in all processes and by trainer's training in gender mainstreaming and co-education, in order to avoid sexism and stereotyped professional choices.
Last but not least, the evaluation system that we have set up, parallel to the development of the project, is based on democratic evaluation models, and focused on the improvement of quality.
