Marketing Text The project will provide the trainers and teachers involved the competences needed to design educational resources suitable to be used with the Interactive Multimedia Board and to integrate them in the everyday teaching activities.

The expected outcome is to foster, thanks to a simple technological enhancement, the innovative use of a classical tool like the blackboard, used by all the teachers and trainers, in the everyday teaching activities, thus improving the motivation of students and their aptitude for cooperative learning.

Summary The project aims to:
- train teachers and trainers, concerned in integrated paths for education and vocational training of young people the use of the Interactive Multimedia Board and its integration with on-line learning objects as well as with virtual collaborative learning environments;
- test the use of the Interactive Multimedia Board in learning environments as an innovative didactic tool;
- create a competence centre involving teachers and trainers of the partners institutions aiming to disseminate in schools and training agencies teaching methodologies and educational resources based on the interactive board;
- explore the possibility and the opportunity to transfer this methodology to other European VET systems.

Description Young people live in a technological world and they learn the use of ICT in a very natural and informal way. The education and vocational training systems have become aware of the importance of using such technologies in learning environments, but up to now the development of teaching methodologies based on ICT has been erratic and mainly targeted to the improvement of ICT technical skills of teachers and trainers rather than their contextualisation to the pedagogical competencies required for their effective use in classroom. The project aims to:
- train teachers and trainers, concerned in integrated paths for education and vocational training of young people the use of the Interactive Multimedia Board and its integration with on-line learning objects as well as with virtual collaborative learning environments;
- test the use of the Interactive Multimedia Board in learning environments as an innovative didactic tool;
- create a competence centre involving teachers and trainers of the partners institutions aiming to disseminate in schools and training agencies teaching methodologies and educational resources based on the interactive board;
- explore the possibility and the opportunity to transfer this methodology to other European VET systems.

The partnership of the project is composed by 19 institutions:
- 13 training agencies members of the association named Effe.Pi, which has been recognised by the government of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region as the consortium responsible for the organization and delivery of all the regional education and vocational training courses and services for students up to 18 years. The consortium is leaded by EnAIP FVG;
- three secondary schools of primary importance in the Region Friuli Venezia Giulia which have been strongly involved in the experimentation of the integrated VET courses financed by the regional government;
- Edulife, a private company providing eLearning training environments and serivces, which developed the methodology in a project financed by the Province of Trento, on which results the project will be based on;
- Ljudska Univerza Jesenice, Slovenian education institution for young and adults, which already collaborated with the promoter in other international cooperation projects;
- Actif Cnt, Association for the promotion of a technology centre, a training agency based in the North of France providing training services to a wide variety of users.
