Description This guide proposes a model of resource sharing that indicates which processes / steps it makes sense to try to mix and what resources it makes sense to try to share in a metalworking industry Veneto. Besides proposing a model of resourse sharing, this guide also describes the mode of application, both in terms of protocols to be followed that of operational tools to use.
Target group Project partners, executives function within companies, labour organisations, civil service, small companies, analysts and designers of the training institutions, business operators who are interested in work organization
This guide has transferred the resource-sharing model designed to help a great company to improve its global logistics services form postponement to a metalworking industry Veneto characterized by the presence of company / group leader for medium-large and a constellation small and micro enterprises that operate mainly as subcontractors of the company / main group. The large differences in the contexts of application of the model in the industry, business, number and size of firms considered, required a thorough revision of the original model.
The fitted model shows five processes particularly relevant to the implementation of standardization initiatives / sharing and two key areas within which such standardization and sharing can take place. For each of these processes, moreover, the model indicates the type of resources that can be shared without undue effort and with tangible benefits in each of two different areas. Highlighting these opportunities for resource sharing and the logic underlying the proposed model supports the supply chain in identifying specific standardization initiatives / sharing within individual companies as well as in their interaction with other players in the sector.
The methods suggested for applying the model, has the result of a joint effort of a group persons who are particularly influential for the functioning of the entire field. The application of the model through meetings between these key players can maintain a very lean, which is well adapted to the needs of companies of a typical Venetian metalworking industry.
