Summary The Project objective is the Creation of the Integrated Virtual Training/Consultancy System based on application of up-to date Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and ICT network platforms. The level of knowledge of broad professional as well as public community in effective use of ICT is still rather low. The intention of the project consortium defined in proposed project is to contribute to the increase of the level of knowledge of ICT use in selected areas. Development of the innovative e-learning methodology applicable to both face-to-face and distance learning based on application of the ICT is incorporated. The main project activity is the development of the Training courses “Skills in application of ICT in the project selected areas - SAICT” (English and national versions). The developed Integrated Virtual Training/Consultancy System will be flexible and open to further evolution processes and it will be possible to implement here new modern technologies. Within this system the stress is given especially to those features, which result in possible dissemination of project outputs in all project partner countries. The project application is proposed in such a way as to correlate with European dimension, this is stressed by the 5 EU and 2 Candidate countries. All of them are interested to participate in the development of the training materials for the training courses SAICT (also as national language versions). The proposed project fits into the #5 priority of the Leonardo da Vinci II programme “New Technologies”.There are altogether 14 partners in the project; of these there are 5 universities (2 from EU, 3 from Associated Countries), 4 enterprises (producers of information and communication technologies, network solutions and applications), 1 network (mobile) operator and 4 other institutions (Association of the Electrotechnical Industry, Society for Lifelong Learning, VEV, National Agency for development of SMEs.).The Project team will be created from the ICT and e-learning experts (members of all participating institutions) in order to guarantee the achievement of the defined objective, goals and outputs. The significant part of the project consortium consists of the previous European project partners. The long-lasting cooperation of these experienced partners in the international educational projects results in the stability of the project life cycle. The project objective and goals as well as the defined project outputs correlate with the eEurope plus Action plan. Project is divided into 5 Work packages. They handle project management, monitoring and dissemination; e-learning – current state, training and consultancy system for e learning, e learning training courses and finally pilot training, testing and evaluation. Each of these Work Packages is further divided into stages, 13 of them altogether. Each stage has some tasks – there are 35 of them in the project. We present the time schedule of running the project.
