Marketing Text Electronic teaching package on accessible built environment for vocational training. Structured according to the environment (outdoor, indoor), generic elements (ramps, doors, stairs), trades, disabilities. Many illustrations, animated drawings, video clips. Free availability from October 2009 in five languages.
Summary The software facilitates either the overview of a subject area or to find a specific information. After having selected the language first the environment or generic element (from 26) should be selected (e.g. bathroom, ramp) - the user will see all information on this topic. It is possible to select a trade (from 18), eg. bricklayer, plumber - the user will see the specific information, related to the given trade. Selecting a disability, e.g. ambulant disabled, a very specific information is available, e.g. what should be done by a plumber in a bathrom for ambulant disabled. Selecting environment and disability only, the user see, what are the needs of a specific group, e.g. blind people in general.

Product information The final electronic teaching package will be published on the partners' homepages and distributed on DVDs. At mid-term stage the following products are available for the vocational schhols which launch the pilot courses: Teachers' Handbook, set of ppt files with animated drawings to facilitate changes or editing by the teachers/trainers of pilot courses, video clips, 12 modules and 2 pdf files. Further modules are beeing uploaded comtinuously. After having evaluated the feedback the modules will be improved, corrected when necessary and disseminated free for any interested institute/individual.
