Marketing Text SKILLS will develop an innovative learning system, validating existent non formal and informal learning and combing them with different methodological approaches and innovative contents for training co-operators to become more aware and active. The aim will be to answer to the needs of validation and structuring of training for co-operators that not embedded at national and regional levels of the countries involved as people tend to work in co-operatives without a precise idea of social enterprises and without specific skills in accounting, administration and law.
Summary The SKILLS system will propose a model of intervention both to respond to the need of training of these specific targets, and to analyse and validate the existent non formal and informal learning opportunities on the basis of a shared balance of skills. In this way, the system will give a general model for the validation of the pre-existent non formal and informal learning in the cooperation world. The work will start from the everyday life of the co-operators – non formal and informal learning - to arrive to a training offer structured in catalogues that give the possibility to design customised combination of itinerant workshops, interactive meetings and ICT-based didactic materials in a perspective of more reflective and active, less prescribed and standardised activities.Cooperative managers, cooperative members, cooperative workers, the unemployed and university students will be involved in the construction of the system as co-operators and potential co-operators and will be active testers of the different version of the system developed that will be reviewed and improved with their evaluation structured in observation, questionnaires and interviews. Other actors involved in this phase will be vocational trainers who work with cooperatives and university professors who are interested in cooperatives who will be the facilitators of the training and validation processes. In the first year of the project, SKILLS will analyse and validate the existent non formal and informal learning, developing a model of validation and a first version of the learning system. In the second year of the project, SKILLS will develop a system that combines the different experiences analysed and validated to develop a business plan for their exploitation and improvement.SKILLS will work with different partners in different countries, exchanging know-how and experience in cooperation and developing a system that could be transfer at the European level.
