Marketing Text Results of the Promotion and Marketing of Local and Regional Products (ProudFarmer)project Methodological Training Tool in Marketing (VET/life-long education program, training manual, workbooks and web tool) developed and trainers/teachers from partner countries trained in order to train farmers, rural SMEs, vocational school students for marketing agricultural niche products and products with local or regional identity. As a part of Methodological Training Tool in Marketing (MTTM) a user-friendly Webtool tool, available in the Internet as a source of information and for practicing of marketing for all interested parties, especially SMEs.
The overall aim of the project: to promote sustainable development of rural areas by developing the quality and attractiveness of VET and life-long learning systems and practices.
The main objective of the project: to transfer and elaborate Methodological Training Tools in Marketing (MTTM), to facilitate promotion and marketing of local and regional products by enhancing the participation of different stakeholders.
Description Many farmers from small and medium enterprises struggle to survive in a rapidly changing agricultural and economical environment and they have little chances to be competitive with the traditional way of production and selling their products. In order to raise their competitiveness these small and medium producers should meet the market demand for well marketed local products, niche products. Still farmers often are short off or completely lack training opportunities and support for their marketing activities.
