EUROPRAKTIKA is a project for young employees. Young employees starting employment are confronted with a lot of changes that ask for qualifications higher than those during the vocational training. These developments ask for vocational, personal and social competences like the knowledge of foreign languages to guarantee the service that is asked for.
This project offers the possibility to learn another European language and to acquire new vocational qualifications, which are indispensable for the demands of the European labour market. The project starts with an introduction into the language and culture of the foreign country. During the first fortnight in Germany the basis of language is taught as well as an introduction in culture. Another two weeks in the host country deepens the knowledge of the language and prepares the placement. The accommodation for the students includes full board and is organised with families. Teachers and specialists in Germany, Italy and Spain support the participants pedagogically and socially.
In addition, our partners acquire the companies for the 10 weeks period of placement. During this time the students will have regular language lessons once a week to support and broaden their knowledge of the language. Finally, the project wants to eliminate prejudices, the feeling of being a stranger and barriers in communication.
