Summary The increasing integration of production industry in Europe results in an urgent need of (production) engineers as part of the key human resource oriented upon the European labour market. Apart from language skills, they need to have good knowledge of national business specifics, cultural issues, interpersonal and soft skills, etc. All those have to be recognised, respected and managed efficiently in a life-long process of learning. Such advanced and postgraduate training courses are currently only available on the business side (e.g. MBA programs) and NOT on the engineering side , even though the half-life period here is much shorter and the need for qualified engineers across Europe is more pressing than ever. The course integrates the topics technology, management and human leadership and will practically prepare the participants for a greater mobility and Europe-wide employment. On top of the “normal“ contents the single modules will be designed while integrating the needs of industry and the certifying bodies of all partner universities while focusing on the European dimension of all module contents
