The project is meant to provide a way of learning that is an alternative to course-based learning for practical vocational training. The need for training on demand and just-in-time learning will keep increasing and vocational training institutions will have to offer adequate methods for meeting these needs. The attractiveness and practicality of course-based vocational education and training (VET) are also enhanced by the use of the support and learning systems for ad hoc problems (e.g. in master’s training programmes) in the VET sector.
