Summary The project improved the information base about the ongoing changes in ICT-based jobs, thus improving individual access to reliable, market-oriented information about skills requirements in ICT-based jobs. The primary task was to produce a gender sensitive web-based consulting tool that provides job-seekers with low access information on skills requirements in ICT-based jobs, self-assessment opportunities and an interactive training planning tool. Within the project, the usability of the tool was tested with this primary target group, and with related professionals such as vocational counsellors in Public Employment Services, schools and training centres, too, by providing information about demand trends and job profiles in ICT-based jobs. A well-developed tool ready for broad usage in European countries is now offered to users, complemented by value services in the process of dissemination, which were carried out in close collaboration with supporting partners and using different means of dissemination in all partner countries.
WP 1 – Demand Analysis:
In this work package the partners developed a sound basis for the future work in product development by analyzing the particular demands of the target groups addressed.
WP 2 – Skills Profiles:
The data from job anouncement was collected to a larger extent than scheduled. In total, the partners captured more than 36.000 job announcements - more than 7000 per partner - in order to develop realistic, detailed and high-quality skills profiles. All partners carried out pre-product tests with institutions from vocational counselling, labour market services and schools at the regional and national level.
WP 4 – Software Development:
Softwarer development was carried out at two levels:
1. Content Management System ("Backend")
2. Web-based User Interface ("Frontend")
Die Softwareentwicklung erfolgte auf zwei Ebenen: 1. Content-Management System („Backend“), 2. web-basierte Benutzeroberfläche („Frontend“).
WP 5 – Testing & Refinement:
The usability tests were based on a detailed manual of P6 and included direct observation and alout-thinking-techniques.
Test persons came from schools (students & teachers) as well as vocational training centres (job-seeking people, counsellors and trainers).

"Jobtutor" (www.jobtutor.at) is a CMS-based web-plattform including the following functions:
1. Vocational information on 23 computer and IT jobs, based on detailled analyses of skills requirements.
2. Interactive vocational aptitude test
3. Skills tests (including key skills) for 23 vocations (from computer basics to particular programming languages)
4. Automated recommendations for individual planning of initial and further training pathways
