Summary This project transfers the results of two projects of innovation carried out at international level in the ambits of the Life Plus Programme and Intelligent Energy for Europe, since their applications, techniques and methodologies have a high pedagogical value and they bring a practical approach for reinforcing the vocational competencies ; in the context of the new Community Directive on "energy certifications for buildings" and its great potential for generating employment.
The main objective of the "the “Efficiency Jobs" project is the support to key competencies for employment under the new EU/31/2010 Directive, of great interest for traditional vocational profiles related to the construction sector where unemployment rates in Spain and other EU countries are having much effect.
In two years of development (October 2013 to September 2015) the Project partnerhip carried out an excelent result for each one of the activities foreseen.
Contents of the projects being transferred have been adapted and enlarged according to the construction sector. They have been tried in face to face modality through seminars and in an ad hoc on-line platform. The specific characteristics of each participating country have been taken into account to ensure the success of the materials produced.
A multilingual "pedagogical manual" aimed at reinforcing key profesional skills for employment was produced (es/en/ge/it/sl. It was included in the project final publication for the ultimate aim of dissemination and transfer.
The manual was produced for being used in face-to-face training modality and on-line modality through platform. For that, 5 courses were produced:
-HVAC abd ACS.
-Heating plants and other professions related.
Every one of the afore-mentioned courses integrate 5 common modules (being two of them closely related with every one of the courses) plus a virtual laboratory.
In order to support the theory a "virtual laboratory" was designed. It contains videos, links, best & bad practices of the 4 participating countries. It is the module 8 of the on-line platform and it is included in the final publication of the project.
Besides, 6 seminaries were organised in the different participating countries where contents were tried presentially.
234 courses were taught to 194 individuals as a whole.
The on-line platform will be opened to potential registrations for a 3 years period at least (http://www.efficiencyjobs.eu/en/registration).
77 entities (companies, authorities, employment offices, companies related to the construction sector, ESCOs and other organizations related to engineering, architecture, construction) adhered the project. Their logos can be visible through the project web link http://www.efficiencyjobs.eu/en/bank_check.
Quality control and monitoring was one of the project workpackages that leaded by one of the project partners served for assuring the quality of the processes, procedures, results and their adapttion to the approaches and objectives of the project. It included a 360º assessment process by the partnership. To finish an assessment of processess and results was carried out by an external assistance.
With regard to the valorisation of products and the dissemination, a combination of actions aimed at putting in value the actions, methodologies, products and results of the project to ensure the multiplier effort.

As main products of the project we can highlight the following:
- Project website in 5 languages (es/en/de/it/si), including links to the projects transferred; to the on-line training platform and to "virtual laboratory".
- Pedagogical Manual for qualification in matter of "energy efficiency in buildings" in 5 languages; to strengthen the key new professional skills for employment under the new normative framework of the 2010/31/EU Directive of "energy efficiency in buildings".
- On-line training platform in 5 languages, for the development of the training action (distance modality).
- Virtual laboratory for the development of "on-line" training practices (ES/EN)
- Bank of adhesions integrated in the project website in 5 languages, for the valorisation and exchange of experiences opened to: authorities, employment agencies, companies from the construction sector, ESCOs, and other entities and organizations linked to sectors of construction, engineering, architecture...
-Final publication (es/en/ge/it/sl) including: a reference to the result of the projects transferred, contents of the virtual lab, reference to the "entities adhered", lessons learnt,pedagogical manual produced for each one of te countries participating in the partnership, assessment tests of the modules of the courses.
