It was implemented the WP 3 - Training of trainers. Teachers and trainers of the schools and training centers involved in the transfer of the QPA attended the training course on the implementation of the QPA method in class. The teachers attended the following training sessions:
a) Italy, Rome, January 24 and 25, 2014 – 12 hours classroom based training - and 6 hours in distance learning),
b) FRANCE (Auxerre, February 6 and 7, 2014 – 12 hours classroom based training - and 6 hours in distance learning),
c) SPAIN (Barcelona, February 13 and 14, 2014 – 12 hours classroom based training - and 6 hours in distance learning).
Description The teacher training session (WP 3), attended by the teachers of the school partners and not, who will implement the QPA method in the classroom with students, was delivered in Italy, in Rome on January 24 and 25, 2014; in France, in Auxerre, on February 6 e 7, 2014 and in Spain, in Barcelona on February 13 e 14, 2014. Teachers have been attended 12 hours of classroom based training and 6 hours in distance learning (e-learning), supported by the Moodle learning management system. The teachers involved were from the following schools: La Salle Tarragona – Tarragona; La Salle Comtal – Barcellona - Groupe Scolaire Saint Joseph-La Salle – Sainte Thérèse, Auxerre; Institut; Saint-Jean-Baptiste De La Salle – Bruxelles. Liceo Scientifico B. Alberti – Minturno; Istituto d’Istruzione Superiore Paolo Baffi – Fiumicino; Istituto Sacro Cuore – Siracusa; Ipssar Tor Carbone – Roma; Istituto Tecnico Economico e Liceo Linguistico Eur Salesiane del Sacro Cuore – Barletta; CNOS-FAP Umbria; Istituto Villa Sora Liceo Scientifico Salesiano – Frascati; Itis Caetani- Roma; Itis Pascal – Roma.
Target group Teachers and trainers of the Italian, Spanish, Belgian and France schools and training centers involved in the project.
The following teachers and trainers have been trained:
- 6 of the Belgian and France schools and training centers;
- 6 of the Spanish schools and training centers;
- 24 of the Italian schools and training centers
Area of application
The training of trainers session has an important function to train the teachers on the QPA method and methodology of its application in the classroom.
This step is necessary and should be done before starting the implementation of the QPA method in the classroom, especially in view of the exploitation and dissemination of the project, even over its lifetime.
