In order to properly implement the project activities, a context analysis in relation to the project target group was carried out. The objective has been to define the process of implementing methodologies and practices subject of transfer of innovation consistent with the organizational aspects and cultural and linguistic backgrounds of the target groups involved in the different countries. Context analysis of project implementation has been explored through three questionnaires structured for this purpose and specially aimed at directors/headteachers, teachers and students of the schools and vocational training centers involved.
Such research has been performed entirely online, through a dedicated survey tool.
The survey is obtained by a sample of schools and vocational training centers involved and has been focused on three kind of figures: directors/headteachers, teachers and students.
The purpose of the questionnaire addressed to the students was aimed to investigate the difficulties which hamper the learning development. The questionnaires were filled out by 617 students of the various involved schools.
The purpose of the questionnaire addressed to the directors was aimed to investigate the school registry with particular reference to the presence of first or second generation of immigrants and Roma. The questionnaires were filled out by 12 managers of the participating schools.
The purpose of the questionnaire addressed to the teachers was aimed to investigate the difficulties which hamper the development of the key competence “learning to learn” which is a transversal skills instrumental in helping the educational process of teaching and learning. The questionnaires were filled out by 106 teachers of the schools involved.
Target group Directors/headteachers, teachers and students of the following schools: Liceo Scientifico L. B. Alberti – Minturno, Istituto D'istruzione Superiore Paolo Baffi – Fiumicino, Istituto "Sacro Cuore" – Siracusa, Ipssar Tor Carbone di Roma - Istituto Prof. Le di Stato Per L`Enogastronomia E L`Ospitalità Alberghiera "Tor Carbone", Itis Pascal di Roma, Istituto Tecnico Economico E Liceo Linguistico Europeo Suore Salesiane Del Sacro Cuore – Barletta, Cnos-Fap Umbria – Perugia, Istituto Villa Sora - Liceo Scientifico Salesiano di Frascati, Institut Saint-Jean-Baptiste De La Salle di Bruxelles, Institute St. Joseph De La Salle di Auxerre, Institute La Salle Comtal e Institute La Salle di Tarragona.
Result The issue of the survey is described in a document titled “Context analysis for the implementation of the project: synthesis report” . Such document has been taken into consideration by the partners in order to develop the project activities for both the translation and arrangement of materials and tools, and for the implementing procedures.
Area of application
The survey has been very useful to define the route of implementing methodologies and practices subject of transfer of innovation coherent with the organizational aspects, cultural and linguistic backgrounds of the target groups of the different countries involved.
Both the implementation aspects of the project and the adaptation / translation of the products subject to the transfer have been directed / influenced by the outcomes of the analysis.
