The aim of Medilingua project was raising the indicator of employability and vocational mobility of paramedics through developing their VOLL competences.
By providing VOLL training on English for paramedics, we improved their vocational competencies. The partnership developed delivery system with mobile and Peer2Peer learning capabilities, that enables gaining these competences. The system is based on podcasting methodology that was transferred to health sector to be used in life-threatening situations pointed by medical experts as the most frequent: adults, children, infants, pregnant women, elderly people.
Aims of the project were: to raise employability and vocational mobility of paramedics through VET competencies improvement in the field of development of VOLL skills by transfer of structure and methodology of Podcasting project as flexible didactic system; to raise paramedics competences on own labour market and foreign markets; to develop socially enhanced delivery system; to provide attractive VET training.
Impact of the project: Short-term impact on the target groups was analysing their needs and preparing suitable training offer. Project impacted VET systems by providing the tool that can be used by various target groups and VET providers.

Podcasts Creation Guide – description of basic principles of creating podcasts, including detailed methodological approach and success stories in the education. It provides general knowledge on the podcasting methodology, and therefore is suitable for a wider audience - other professions and sectors. There are five printed language versions.
Delivery System (final version)
Tested and running Delivery System with all previously tracked errors and malfunctions corrected, ready to be released for use by general public, especially people from the target groups - paramedics. Because it is an English VOLL course for paramedics, the main structure is in English. Nevertheless, the courses content is bilingual, according to the partners from the Consortium.
