At the overall aim of enabling an ECVET process in the tourism sector, this report shows the results of the activities of work package 2 aimed to:
- carry out a detailed survey, in each participating Country, of professional figures involved in the "heritage interpretation" activites;
- classify the noticed figures in relation to EQF (giving them a reference in relation to the national classificatory systems);
- define an European common perimeter in the concerned professional field, to identify the professional figure/s on whom the project will focus and activate the ECVET process; the individuation of this qualification perimeter was focussed on EQF level 5 or lower, to ensure, in compliance with the LLP LdV rules, that the project concerns only the field of vocational education and training (VET), and not formal higher education and vocational education and training at tertiary level.
Description This report on preparatory analysis and researches is containing: a detailed outline of the different professional figures involved in the "heritage interpretation" activities in the VET systems of the tourism sector, detected in all participating Countries; the classification of all these professional figures within EQF via national qualifications frameworks and systems; a common European perimeter of these professional figures, limited to EQF level 5 or lower, on which we have implemented ECVET.
