This section will present the concept and procedures for the certification of organic products, the
certification inspection stages and the conditions for recognizing products as organic.
Description This labelling regime was designed to inspire trust in consumers of EU Member States regarding the organic production of the products they purchase. The EU logo was designed with the aim of increasing visibility of organic products by consumers and functions in a way similar to other national logos which you may see in your own country. According to the Council Regulation on organic methods of production and labelling of organic products, it is mandatory for products produced according to the EU Regulation on organic farming to have the logo on their label.

To accept and understand the necessity for the inspection and certification of organic
production and the labelling procedure for organic products.
To understand and describe the main points of regulation No. 2092/91 and its
amendments regarding certification of organic production and the procedures for labelling
the produced organic products
To understand and be able to implement the required steps – actions for including your
farm in the inspection – certification system for organic products and the organic product
inspection and certification processes at all stages
