Project Type Transfer of Innovation
Marketing Text The project, that includes transfer, customization, localization and transculturization of the curriculum for e-facilitators (developed under VET4e-Inclusion) and their fast track training, will provide the needed steps for the creation of e-facilitators and improvement of their work in the beneficiary countries. It will raise the quality and achieve improvements and innovation in the field of vocational training of e-facilitators, which may be considered as European value of the project. Additional fostering effect is that the activities and results of the project to meet national and regional needs are mainly targeted towards Accession countries, where the problems of lack of competences needed for implementation of the Information society and bridging the digital divide are more severe.
This project is a try to integrate the efforts of partners mainly from NMS and AC to transfer the developed in the Leonardo da Vinci project “VET4e-Inclusion” idea for e-facilitator as instrument for e-Inclusion with it's curriculum, methodology, technology, experience, appropriate LMS, content and use case scenarios. Based on this the core idea of the project is an innovation transfer to Turkey and FYROM of the developed curriculum for creating "e-facilitators", being the European Vocational Education and Training Solution for eInclusion and for bridging the digital divide. During the transfer all modules from the curriculum will be matched according the European and national ECVET and qualification frameworks. Cross cultural adaptation and localization of the developed under “VET4e-Inclusion” training materials , as well as development of additional training material according to national peculiar requirements will be elaborated to improve the quality of training for e-facilitators at the beneficiaries. The developed under “VET4e-Inclusion” eFacilitator curriculum is with aspects of community management, regional networking, management of the network center, workshop planning and promotion of employability and core ICT competences. It has been developed as a flexible and adaptable tool to qualify e-facilitators for social inclusion in selected national contexts. As special aim and main innovation of the project to lifelong learning we consider the transfer process of the existing curriculum to different national contexts, employing a localization process that takes different national and regional situations into account. The transfer will take into account the different professional profiles of the e-facilitators by expressing them in ECVET frames. The beneficiaries of the project will localize, adapt and extend, if needed, the curriculum. Conditions of formal recognition in the systemic context of the respective partner countries.
The project will enlarge the curriculum by modules which qualify e-facilitators to use and implement learning opportunities with regard to key and transversal competences. This is an innovative contribution for further development of the existing curriculum for eFacilitator affecting the performance of their institutions, allowing them to better serve the economic and individual needs of improved transversal competences.
Aims and objectives:
1.To prepare the curriculum and modules for national transfer in Turkey and Greece on the base of the feasibility study. This includes adaptation of curriculum and modules by taking national/regional situations into account, comparison with national needs; discover e-facilitator requirements for the beneficiaries, make relations to ECVET and EQARF indicators.
2.To prepare initial trainers using the transferred curriculum and modules on place. This will be achieved through development and implement of “train-the-trainer” workshop.
3.To tune final quality-driven adjustments of the customized curriculum, modules and of the transfer process as a whole. This will be achieved using the feedback of the “train-the-trainer" workshop participants on usability of curriculum and modules.
4.To relate the outcomes of the transfer process to national and European references on three layers. Using national qualification frameworks; European qualifications framework in order to assure a trans-national comparability of the outcomes and support valorisation; European Quality Assurance Reference Framework to support the monitoring of improvement in vet.
5.To monitor and evaluate the project during its lifetime and using the feedback to assure quality of work in relation to the application. Done in WP1
6.To create exploitation and valorization plan and implement continuous internal and external dissemination. This will be achieved through offering the project products by publishing them.
7.To assure sustainability of the project.
