Marketing Text TECRINO project formally state the necessity to develop mechanisms to improve the acquisition of skills related to innovation through informal education.
After more than a decade after the moment when the European Council formulated the Lisbon strategy, expressing the ambition of making EU "the most competitive and dynamic knowledge-driven economy by 2010", it became obvious that knowledge is the third key factor, besides labor and capital, for the economic growth of any country.
And, in a dynamic and highly competitive world, knowledge is intrinsically linked to learning and innovation.
In this context, the TECRINO project assumes that innovation and creativity can be taught, and aims to develop appropriate courseware for improving the awareness of teachers and students about the mental processes and educational techniques required by the concept of “education for creativity”.
This directly addresses the key competence nr. 5 – “learning to learn” of the European Reference Framework “Key Competences for Lifelong Learning”, by creating not only a problem solving attitude, but also the ability of the students to handle obstacles and a rapidly changing environment.
Among the tangible results expected in this project, we count: development of the educational content of the course as reusable digital objects in several EU languages, integrated in an e-learning platform, actual delivery of the course tp two groups of teachers and students, and evaluation of the results.
Intangibe results include: support of innovation improvements in vocational education through implementation of Course on Developing creative thinking as a part of university and LLL education, improve the quality and increase the volume of co-operation between institutions or organisations providing learning opportunities from several different EU countries.
Description The primary goal of the TECRINO project is to develop ICT-based content and appropriate pedagogic methodologies for innovation oriented education.
Utilization and distribution of results

Product information TECRINO directly addresses the objective of creating the educational resources for teaching creativity on a large scale. The project introduces new tools, usable in formal and non-formal education, aimed to increase the awareness of educators and students on the cognitive processes and social communication that enable innovation
