Marketing Text The comparative analysis offers some indications on how to transfer the theatrical approach already implemented by the Italian partner “Centro Studi – Opera Don Calabria”, at the same time providing suggestions on how to possibly improve the approach itself.
Description The comparative analysis is based on the comparison between the five national reports and the European research that have been carried out by the six partners of the THEATRE project. These six studies were carried out starting from a shared index and report data related to early school leaving (ESL), characteristics of early school leavers, main risk factors, strategies available in the respective countries, indications and possible contexts in which the transfer could effectively happen.
Target group All organisations, IVET providers, vocational schools wanting to implement the good practices, all relevant stakeholders supporting the THEATRE project's partners in implmenting the good practice in their territories
The document is divided into three main parts, where the first two make reference to the
European contexts in general and the situation of the partner countries specifically. The first part
provides a general view about the different education structures and about the ESL phenomenon in
Europe (school systems, dropping-out rates, characteristics of the early leavers, main risk factors).
The second one reports some of the existing best practices to tackle ESL, both at general (mainly
institutional) level and based on artistic activities and/or ICT. Finally, the third part deals with the
improvement and the transfer of the theatrical approach into other contexts dealing with young
people at risk of early school leaving.
