“Learning can happen everywhere”. Being aware of this, all kinds of situations, be it at work, home or during leisure time, can turn out to be efficient ways of learning since learning is not only sheer accumulation of knowledge but a holistic process that also includes actions, emotions and attitudes.
A learning process is unique and so will be the learning experiences. To define a scenario likely to succeed, it is necessary to become clear about all aspects the project will be confronted with and about factors that need to be considered while planning.
The PROVIDE binders shall suport future users to set up individual learning projects along the lines of the PROVIDE approach.
The PROVIDE binder combines the products the project has developed to contribute to the mission it was set for.
It starts with the theoretical ground works that were developed in the PROVIDE partnership
at the beginning and explains the underlying concepts in depth.
The second part of this Binder combines a selection of materials that were developed and used during the piloting phase of the PROVIDE approach. Here again concepts and presentations are part of the package, but also templates that were used by the VET professionals from all over Europe who participated in learning projects.
The binder also contains a collection of good practice examples that deserve special attention and can hopefully be a source of inspiration for other practitioners in VET or other educational fields.
Target group Learners (Professionals) in VET and at the workplace, learning providers, trainers, course organisers, HR managers
Result The PROVIDE binder represents a collection of relevant documents for all potential users that can be compiled according to the demand, be it as training compendium or as practice guide.
Area of application
The binder shall support potential users to:
- establish a comprehensive CPD system for educational professionals;
- follow a standardized thus comparable procedure to evidence and validate competence development;
- plan informal and non-formal learning actions and events in a conscious and successful way.
