Marketing Text One of the WP9 results was to organize Final Conference at the end of the project funding period inviting all potential stakeholder.
As the University of Rijeka was responsible to organise the final conference, and at the same time in October, International Conference of the International Association of Maritime Universities (IAMU) was held in Opatija, UoR arrange that ACTs project take special panel at Conference. The International Association of Maritime Universities (IAMU) is the global network of more than 50 Maritime universities all over the world, providing Maritime Education and Training (MET) of seafarers for the global shipping industry.
The Final conference of ACTs project - Avoiding Collisions at Sea, was held on 07th October 2015 in the conference room Astoria in Opatija, Croatia. At the
ACTs conference were invited
-participants IAMU - AGA2015 Conference (rectors and deans of maritime institutions of higher education from 58 marine institutions of higher education from around the world.),
-teacher’s maritime schools and colleges,
-student representatives participants IAMUS 2015 conference,
-maritime companies and members of various professional associations related
of Maritime industry.
At the ACTs Conference there were more than 90 participants- Also, the representative of the Croatian National Agency, that was invited, gave an opening statement.
Target group Rectors and deans of maritime institutions, teacher’s maritime schools and colleges, students, active sailors, government authorities, maritime companies and members of various professional associations related of Maritime industry.

Area of application
As the results of projects funded through EU programmes and initiatives need to achieve maximum impact the Conference at the end of the project funding period need to invite all representatives from major social partners, operating
companies and academic institutions specifically target representatives from the project target groups.
ACTs Final conference was a great success. The conference was attended and actively involved in the discussion representatives of IAMU (rectors, deans, vicedeans, teachers, lectures), IMO, RIN, Crew mangers of the biggest world shipping companies like CMA CGM, Chevron, CB, Deans and Rectors of maritime universities, students and representatives of the Administration.
The general conclusion of the participants at Final ACTs conference is that developed eLearning materials (eCOLREGs) are very innovative and that can help in learning and understanding the rules.
