Assurance the Course is evaluated internally and externally. After the translation of ACTs course on five national languages (within WP6 Translation), ACTs course was evaluated by 5 piloting groups in 5 partner countries (UoR, NVNA, PRU, SeaTeach, SPIN) in their national language by the end of November and begging of December 2015. All end users performed selflearning on the ACTs course and teachers again recorded their observations. Beside that the end users fulfill the questionnaire. Consolidated results and comments are prepared by Piri Reis University including the comments recorded during the piloting and result obtained from the questionnaire. The ACTs course is improved again with piloting group reports in all stated languages.
After the 2nd piloting the project partner decide to have one more external evaluation of technical aspect of the project’s technical outcome namely, the scenarios. Evaluation was carried out on a large sample of these, some 30 cases.
The main purpose of this last evaluation was to ensure the technical outputs are of high quality and error free so that the course is in the position to be presented to a major awarding or accrediting body for compliance with industrial requirements and hence given recognition for application in maritime education and/or training organizations. After last evaluation the final version of ACTs course was finished. It can be seen at www.ecolregs.com. The final version of Course on all language is attached to this document and submitted to NA.
