The autism is a neurological disorder concerning the socialization and communication functions. Nearly 5 million people would be concerned in the EU
We note that classical vocational trainings (medical, educational, social, school) do not give any element of comprehension of the autistic disorders nor of the professional good practices.
We propose a module court of “knowledge of bases on the autism” which will allow an immediate professional efficiency for any person brought to work near people with autism.
Autism issues start to be apprehended by the various governments as really requiring answers (and thus competences) specific.
There are violent quarrels between various currents of thoughts: psychoanalytical and behaviorist in particular.
Goals HIPE4ASD- To answer, following the example of the European recommendations, with the need for follow-up personalized and individualized people with ASD and for training of the professionals of ground on specificities for necessary pathology and them in terms of knowledge-being and know-how
To qualify the professionals of the social accompaniment, educational, medical and of the companies employing of the people with ASD on knowledge and practices allowing an immediate occupational efficiency
To mitigate the deficiencies of the trainings (social, educational, medical, services) in practical terms of knowledge on the ASD.
To create a common culture of the professionals of the same territory (social, educational, medical world and companies) for a better inclusion and a better quality of service
To contribute to the improvement of the accompaniment of the people with ASD and their entourage, combining educational, teaching and therapeutic interventions, for a better social participation and of a wellness increased.
To define the criteria making it possible to identify the risks of dangerous drifts and contributes directly to the recommendations of Well-Treatment intended to prevent any form of ill-treatment.
The autism became a real issue of company. One speaks today about “disorders of the autistic spectrum” so much the situations and the demonstrations of this disease are varied and often diverting At the level of the EU, it are nearly 4.5 million people who are concerned directly. All these people have the same needs as any citizen (care, education, schooling, professional insertion, services) but the specific needs of these people require an accompaniment, a pedagogy, a very specialized coaching. We make the report, at the level of the EU, that no initial vocational training prepares and does not give keys to understand and know quickly how to accompany the people with TED well. The professionals of the social and health sectors, specialized or non specialized education, companies or services are not prepared to the contact with ASD persons and to the adaptation of their knowledge/know-how to these persons. HIPE4ASD aims to transfer a short course (4 days) created in France on the basis of the Basic Knowledge and Practices which is now recognized in Europe and has been used successfully for 5 years. This course brings fundamental knowledge and competences to integrate the main features of the people with ASD in the daily professional practices. Partners of training sector (Spain), education (Greece), social services (Italy) and job-coaching for autistic persons (Denmark) stick to validate a set of transverse knowledge and competences for any professional who are daily in touch with autistic persons. The on-going activities of the project has been :
- to put in coherence the French model with the various reference frames of competences of the categories of professionals targeted
- to define convergent expected competencies of targeted professionnals (social sector, education, general services, enterprises) and to thus finalize a course “of immediate occupational efficiency” which can be thus transferred to any professional in link with people with ASD (already employed, improving qualification, recently engaged or applying for a new job). This course is an answer to the lacks of initial trainings (often poor on this field in particular in terms of practices) and meets the “immediate” requirements in terms for knowledge-being and know-how, which the offer in training does not propose.
- to assess the pedagogical kit and prepare the last phase of the project : to finalize the course and evaluation tools after the testing phase
HIPE4ASD will make it possible to create a common professional culture thus improving comfort of life but also the social and professional inclusion of the people with ASD.

The achieved 4-days course is modular, adaptive and transverse to all the professional targeted categories, including low level qualification profiles.
