In recent years, the emergent need for quality increasing of vocational skilled force in the area of automotive industry has been recognized in Slovak Republic. The automotive industry is of great significance for national Slovak economy, as it employs approximately
80000 workers (https://www.sario.sk), which can be educated at 9 Pilot Centers. However, all of these institutions have to face the same problem – the lack or absence of appropriate educational materials for key vocational subjects of auto professions. Therefore, the key objective of the project is to target the problem by means of transfer of existing innovative multimedia screens and online interactive tools used in UK and CZ and their subsequent adjustment to the needs of Slovak VET. The final outcome of the project are 12 online modules and 3 textbooks for key vocational subjects of Car repair related professions: Auto Servicing and Diagnostics, Plumbing Technology and Lacquer Technology.
Summary The project seeks to target the problem of the absence of appropriate educational materials for key vocational subjects in automotive industry and to increase the quality of learning in Slovak VET, which was recognized as the national priority for LdV programme – Transfer of innovation. Currently, automotive schools with similar field of study recognize four key vocational subjects for specific Car related professions – Automobiles, Auto Servicing and Diagnostics, Plumbing Technology and Lacquer Technology. However, the teaching materials corresponding with European standards are accessible only for the vocational subject called – Automobiles. Therefore, the project offers possible solution to this problem. The final outcome of the project are 12 online modules (at least 300 learning screens) for vocational subjects Auto Servicing and Diagnostics, Plumbing Technology and Lacquer Technology (2nd and 3rd grade of study) , as well as 3 textbooks for each subject. The project so far targeted about of 500 students and teachers from 14 VET schools in Car repair, service and retail professions in SK. The other potential beneficiaries are employment offices providing re-qualifications, educational and training institutions concerned on Car related professions, employees of automotive industry enterprises and other vocational public in SK and abroad. Those outcomes were accomplished by means of cooperation of 6 partners, whereas the project contractor – SOSA SK was responsible for project management; ATT Training provided 300 learning screens developed in UK; Center for Modern Education CZ (CFME CZ) provided online tools for development of e-learning platform; CFME SK ensured the localization of technologies transferred from CZ and UK and upload of the content developed by SOSA SK into online modules; State Institute of Vocational Education (SIOV) was responsible for dissemination process and Stredni odborni skola automobilni Holice participated in testing and provided the feedback about the final products.
Description The project falls within the category of "transfer of innovation" wherease by means of transfer of educationl materials and tools from UK and CZ, the project teams developed innovative educational materials - 12 online modules and 3 text books for key vocational subejct in the field of Automotive industry - Auto Servicing and Diagnostics, Plumbing Technology and Lacquer Technology (2nd and 3rd grade of study - 2 modules + 1 Textbook per year of one vocational subject).

The major outcomes of the project comprise subsequent products:
- 12 online modules for Vocational Subjects Auto Servicing and Diagnostics, Plumbing Technology and Lacquer Technology (2 moduels per one year of one vocational subject.
- The modules comprise adapted multimedia screens (300), 2D and 3D animations, pictures and videos from UK, which will serve as a base for vocational subjects materials.
- 3 Textbooks for vocational subjects Auto Servicing and Diagnostics, Plumbing Technology and Lacquer Technology, whereas one book for each subject covers 2 years of study (2nd grade and 3rd grade).
