Title Flexible automatization
Project Number 2012-1-SI1-LEO05-03958
Project Type Transfer of Innovation
Marketing Text Project of flexible automatisation was a project of transfer of knowledge and solutions among partners in the field of flexible automatisation. It was based on skills and experience, transfer of educational programs necessary for the upgrading of a flexible production cell. Basic field of knowledge transfer was machining, automatisation, robotics- on these fields, skills were necessary, there were deficit fields and there where demanding and connected to equipment, used by industry. We promoted professions, profiles and made them attractive, interesting. In the first place we ensured good trained teachers, trainers and employed experts.
Project of Flexible automatisation was a project of transfer of knowledge and solutions among partners in the field of flexible automatization. It was based on skills and experience, transfer of VET educational programs necessary for the upgrading of a flexible production cell.
Its aim was training of VET teachers, trainers of practical lessons in schools and employees in companies. The extent of knowledge transfer was demanding, that was the main reason why the project has got planned partners and planned tasks in the consortium. The basic direction of innovation transfer was from Austria and Slovenia to other countries – Croatia and Turkey.
Solutions found in previous common programs were transferred. Useful innovations in the field of knowing the flexible cell has already been confirmed on the market. It brings us new higher applicability in the sense of higher quality, reducing costs, rising the companies reputation, limiting competitiveness etc. It is the result of development and research work which demands a whole business approach from the idea, applicative research and development of production. These facts allowed us to transfer the gained knowledge and experience. It is a fact that skills transfer always brings us broadening our common knowledge and good knowledge transfer among target groups. It supported small and medium-sized companies producing and manufacturing metal, and cooperation between educational institutions and industry.
Cooperation enabled a common educational program for teachers, trainers, employees in companies and a common realization of the program. Already construed flexible production cells (CNC machine with robot and communication) were the fundament for the practical realization of the program, demonstration and product tests, simulation, optimization of innovative products for the knowledge transfer to the companies. We built a permanent knowledge transfer among VET schools and between schools and companies.
In the project we trained employees by knowledge required from the companies where flexible cells are necessary. Only they are able to adapt to new products and enable the necessary quality of production.
Target groups of the project were VET teachers, trainers, professionals in educational companies, employees in SMEs who gained modern skills and methods on production technologies and companies manufacturing metal and artificial materials.
The aim of the project “LdV Flexcell” was in line with the aim of the LdV programme. The main goal was to improve quality and attractiveness of vocational education and training in cooperating countries transfer of existing solutions/ innovations in new legal, system, sector, language, social-cultural and geographic environment. Basis of transfer of innovation were shorter education programes - modules with material on the field of flexible cell and experience transferred to new countries.
The project objective was knowledge transfer for the production cell in the fields of robotics, organization and technical components of flexible cell, quality and measurement, CNC, safety between educational institutions with the purpose to train teachers and other skilled staff employed in industry.
Trainings took place on the flexible cell in the school of Zreče, Wolfsberg, Kärnten and Graz, (exchanging) with previous check up of possibilities in receiving countries to the product testing and transfer.
We adapted materials, innovative approach for the target groups and testing products in order to train the teachers (from all partners on practical level and employees in companies (transfer from educational institutions to industry).
The project was based on presenting the project idea to analyze and identify existing needs, resources adaptations in countries, solutions, team work among cooperating countries, language adaptation by making a vocabulary of most used terms for the work on flexible cell (short multi lingual overview).
In this purpose linked relevant EU experts with intention to execute the project activities – bringing an EU project dimension and enlarge the competitiveness of the targeted sector.
Direct outcomes are: knowledge transfer among partners, training of teachers (17 skilled trainers), material adaptation for teachers and SME’s employees, test products.
Realisation of training for employees (in Slovenia), finished printed version of manual, multi lingual dictionary of often used terms associated to the production cell, data dissemination and promotion of the data on the webpage of the project in order to disseminate and exploit project results into other EU countries.
