It was not possible to deliver all documents for the ECVET process results originally envisaged in the application form.
The testing of forms of vertical mobility resulted particularly relevant because lacking financial resources (non-approval of submitted projects in the framework of LLP LdV Mobility) it was not possible to test the methodology in the context of geographical mobility as originally planned mainly in the framework of I.T.S. pathways. The hypothesis of vertical mobility allowed to work for building and consolidating the conditions of actual applicability and sustainability of the Be-TWIN approaches and methodological tools through the passages at tertiary level between VET and HE and identifying in the I.T.S. pathways of the Veneto Region, in the comparison between the curricula of the Höhere Technische Bundeslehr- und Versuchsanstalt St. Pölten and the Fachhochschule Technikum Wien as well as in the Dutch Associate Decree the privileged context for their testing.
Learners (students, VET learners, adult learners). They are directly concerned by the adapted and transferred methodology proposed by the project and will be involved in the process mainly through the testing phase
Education and training institutions involved in all project phases. They constitute the heart of the Be-TWIN partnership and are the key player to put in place a coordinated ECVET-ECTS implementation
Competent bodies and policy-makers in charge of the design and certification of education and training programmes
Educational/pedagogical staff: professors, trainers, training programme managers, persons in charge of the international development within their educational institution
Companies: one of the benefits of the adapted and transferred methodology will be to link the educational contents with identified learning outcomes, thus favouring the adequacy between the provision of education and training and the labour market’s needs and promoting mobility throughout Europe.
The testing of Be-TWIN methodology concretely started at the beginning of Year 2 as provided in the original Application Form so to enhance the outcomes of the adaptation, research and review of approaches and tools developed during Year 1. In the specific field of testing in the framework of the I.T.S. of the Veneto Region, the project used, in addition to the Be-TWIN methodology for crossing ECVET-ECTS, the results achieved in the framework of DRIVIN.G. TOWARDS EQF: Occupational and training standards for new jobs in non-university higher education project coordinated by the Project Coordinator and funded by the European Social Fund Regione Veneto. in relation to the development of a format for the EQF Level 5 occupational profiles standard.
The duration of the testing to be performed on the selected curricula required a longer time to be fully implemented. This was mainly caused by the fact that the selected training programmes ended by the end of September 2014 and the actual assessment processes and possible application of vertical mobility were subsequent. The successful completion of the testing required two additional months. The testing was in fact mostly already made during the design and implementation of the pathways and could only be completed in the forthcoming months regarding the assessment, credits award and their eventual spendability in vertical mobility. The final examinations were completed by September while the academic year began in October and November. Against this background it was possible to ensure the participation of different actors/stakeholders involved and thus to strengthen relations and networking at different regional, national and European level.
