Title Mobility of young electricians in electro-technics industry
Project Number 123210321
Project Type Mobility - initial vocational training IVT
Individual Participation Not possible
Marketing Text Project is focused on mobility for 16 students divided to 2 groups. First group of 8 students attended mobilities in Gent, Belgium. Second group of 8 students attended mobilities in Prague, Czech republic. Groups practised in the field of electronics and ICT.
16 students of 2nd and 3rd grade will take a part in this project. In past years only students from study branch Electrotechnics were able to participate on this projects but this year we want to join also students from study branch Technical lyceum, which was opened two years ago.
In mobilities, students will have 2 week practical stay in foreign countries' factories focused on the area of electrotechnics, electronics and information & communication technologies. Same practice is compulsory for them in our school, which is evaluated in subject Practice. Because school doesn't have enough opportunities to place students in good and vocational companies, student must find suitable company for them, which is often focused on area that is not so closely connected to the area of electrotechnics or ICT.
Foreign stay in specialized companies will allow students to work in high quality equipped workplacements in branch that they study. Because students study in branches that are finished by graduation exam, it's expected that they will work as specialized technical employees or in lower management positions. Knowledge and skills obtained in this project will be very useful for them - there are technical skills in the area of electrotechnics and ICT, language skills and also soft skills like independence, communicativeness, flexibility or teamwork. From past projects we confirmed hypothesis that students which took a part in projects, will have better study results and higher motivation to learn, because they saw real work in workplacement, where they could show their knowledge and skills.
Each moblities - practical stays abroad will last for 2 weeks + 1 day for travelling in both countries. In both countries - Czech Republic and Belgium there will be 8 students + 1 accompanying person.
1. Gain new practical experiences and skills in the area of electrotechnics with the specialization of electronics, service and ICT.
2. Motivate students to improve their language skills mostly in the scope of technical subjects and ICT, technical terminology in EU languages.
3. Improve flexibility on labor market mostly by gaining new knowledge and skills from study area and improving personal characteristics mostly responsibility, independence, flexibility, work discipline and team work.
4. To develop reciprocal cooperation between our school and partners in Czech Republic and Belgium and improve cooperation in project realization.
