Detailed report after the preparatory study visit to Belgium, at the partner RREUSE (26th-30th May, 2013).
The report shows the knowledge that final and intermediate beneficiaries from the partners Orius, Emilia-Romagna Region and Unimore, acquired by visiting some high level of excellence social enterprises, which are members of RREUSE. Moreover, the report collects further important elements on innovative processes of valorization of textile and bulky waste (subject of the experimentation), also in view of the next study visit to France. Due to that reason, the report has been included in the list of Result.
The report has been considered extremely interesting for deepening the organization and management promoted by the companies dealing with the sector, in order to understand the dynamics and the roles inside the identified processes. Before thinking of the competences necessary to the professional profile of the valorizator, the valorization process has been observed in the field in order to sharpen characteristics, differences, similarities in the different processes for preparation/recycling/reuse chain of textile and bulky waste.
After separating the requirements of the textile from the bulky waste, hence, the competences/functions necessary to the valorization processes (valorization of process, product; sales, etc.) have been analyzed. Among the analyzed subjects:
• The nature of the valorization competences and the phase of the waste management process where they take a place (is there always a transformation? In terms of trash-design? Could it be a competence close to the traditional ones, about marketing and sale?)
• The differences and similarities in the valorization competences applied to the different sectors WEEE, textile, bulky waste
• Where the competences are technical/operational or managerial/strategic and which is the relationship between the 2 typologies of competences.
