Marketing Text The Implementation Guide offer a compressed overview of the lessons learned during the transfer. In this respect it provides a rich starting point allowing other border regions to build on this first experiences and foster the adaptation of dedicated PAT-TEIN approach in their border context. Please check the full documentation on our project website www.pat-tein.eu and in the enclosed document.
In order to ensure the sustainability of the PAT-TEIN Project, 2 strands were identified by the partners at application stage:
- the trainings that could be delivered on the basis of the Toolkit in 4 borders
-further transfers, to other European Borders willing to develop a toolkit for the training on intercultural project management
Concerning the first aspects, the partners agreed on copyrights and intellectual property rights issues. Moreover each Cross-Border Team / PAT-TEIN partner will be able to use the Toolkit they developed in order to offer training for free or against remuneration.
Concerning the second point, the principal idea was to benefit from the experience of PAT-TEIN with the transfer in 4 ‘pilot borders’ in order to facilitate further transfers at other borders. Therefore each of the 4 borders filled in an ‘Evaluation of the Transfer’ Formulary. Moreover the 4 borders wrote a special section in the Toolkit on ‘Lessons Learned’ consisting of
1. Characteristics of border specific challenges;
2. Lessons learned in the CB Team;
3. Lessons learned in the Group – Added Value PAT-TEIN).
Building on that the lead partner defined a 6 steps approach for further transfers. The description of the 6 steps approach and the Lessons Learned constitute the Implementation guide.
